In Germany, ERV integrates travel cover into caesar-data hotel booking system.
ERV, the travel insurance company belonging to the ERGO group, is collaborating with caesar-data, a major provider of hotel booking software in Germany, to integrate its travel cancellation insurance in the online booking system run by caesar-data. The Ratingen-based software company stated that many of its hotel partners had asked about travel cancellation insurance to be included in the service. Travel cancellation insurance compensates a hotel guest for the costs of cancellation in the case of an accident or unexpected illness. (Oct. 2011)
