A group of students of the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, Netherlands, in cooperation with a group of Students of two universities in Turkey have conducted a market research leading to an advice on the market entry in Turkey for Bengrip.

The study has once more confirmed the potential for creative group insurance programs in the Turkish market provided the relationship with the local affinity partner is well established and the insurance coverage is easy to understand. It should create a solid understanding of the added value for the target audience . This is typical to the way Bengrip is creating and managing Group Insurance Programs across the different countries:  adding value to your clients and members!

The study showed an excellent opportunity but is also a warning to closely adhere to the Turkish culture. Family bonds and family support, is -amongst others- a major hurdle to insurance sales. Furthermore, there is a vast difference between the West and East regions of the young and rapidly expanding country (June 2011).
